A trip to Sizewell

Contacted by a customer in Scotland, could we tow a trailer with some ducting to Sizewell for part of the new facility being built? Of course we can, so off to bonny Scotland and on a chilly night helped load up the coil onto the customers trailer, adding our high intensity yellow lights we headed off for a night at one of our favourite hotels (www.baronycastle.com) as they are dog friendly and Meg has a great time running around on the front lawns.

Then down to Manchester before an early start to Ispwich, now that presented a little problem for us as Meg wasn't allowed on site, but there are some fantatstic dog sitters around and one very kindly took Meg while I headed up to site to deliver the goods.

I'd like to say that it was a smooth journey home, but we all know what the A14 can be like and this afternoon was no exception, A14 / M6 / M1 shut and there we were stuck. Thankfully when they did begin to allow traffic through, just as we got to the restriction they opened the connection to the M6 and away we went with an almost empty road!
