I was quietly minding my own business last Thursday but keeping an "eye" on potential jobs, after all I dont take any job, I like to choose my jobs. Before everyone leaps in and becomes critical, remember I'm semi retired and only want to do the jobs I fancy doing, not evey job put in front of me, and while this may sound arrogant thats about 30 a day and I only want to do 1 -2 a week.

Last week, as you may have read, Meg and I took a boat down to Padstow ( Or padstein as its nicknamed after @rickstein.com the rather good fish chef and TV presenter, yes we like your programs) and then took a boat from there to Lowestoft.

Well, this weekend was a bit different, there was a job posted from Leeds to Falmouth, and we do like a visit to the beach at this time of the year. Our customer, Lyndsey, needed her Landrover Discovery going from https://www.glasshoughtoncarsales.co.uk/ to Falmouth.

Who are we to turn down a trip to the beech? So, we picked up the car on Friday evening (and we have to thank Ben & Ben for waiting for us, the M62 was worse than its normal self on a Friday) and then left first thing on Saturday morning to take it down to our fantatsic customer who was not only waiting, at https://www.falmouthrugbyclub.co.uk/ who had kindly agreed to allow us to drop the car there, rather than a very tight street, they also had treats for Meg Dog. what an absolute joy to have customers like this.

Having dropped off the "Disco" it was time to hit the beach, so we headed up the coast to find a suitable spot for the night. Fish and Chips from The Mermaid Takeaway in Bude (https://www.visitbude.info/) - trust me here, they are AWESOME!!! and into our stop over for the night.

What an incredible spot to spend a night, a beautiful sunset, the waves crashing on the beach all night, we snuggled up and slept the night away, thank you Cornwall for another great visit.......Dumfries and Galloway next, nothing like zooming around the country
